Why do people give each other flowers? To celebrate various important occasions, they’re killing living creatures? Why restrict it to plants? “Sweetheart, let’s make up. Have this deceased squirrel.” ~The Washington Post

The Mark of Athena

I just read Rick Riordan’s blog where he unfolded the elusive Mark of Athena cover and posted it’s first chapter!!

Sigh, isn’t it just gorgeous?! I think that’s Jason, riding Tempest and wearing Camp Jupiter’s purple shirt. And that’s Percy, riding Blackjack, and wearing Camp Half-Blood’s orange shirt!!! But why are they fighting each other. They’re supposed to be fighting Gaia. 😦 I swear, Riordan’s books have the best covers. I can’t wait to delve into Annabeth’s POV!!

Too school for cool.

School is starting tomorrow, and that means a lot of things:

  • Less updates.
  • Waking up at 7 o’clock in the morning. Every. Single. Day.
  • Well, at least I get my allowance again.

My schedule is like high school all over again. I swear! My classes start at 7 in the morning every day, and ends at around 3 in the afternoon. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, because it really is a blessing to be able to go to a respectable institution and to be able to study and get educated. So, okay, I’m not going to complain. I thank God for every knowledge I am able to absorb and incorporate in real life.

So due to the fact that I get to have my allowance again, I get to save money again! And for a good cause this time, though it depends on your definition of “good”. I have troubles saving money because I’m hungry all the time! And because of milk teas, which I’m craving for 24/7. They’re my only vice! Pray for me so that I’ll be able to not give in to temptation. 😦

Because I’m going to the Bazooka Rocks Festival!!

It’s the first indoor rock concert in the Philippines. And none of that “VIP” stuff because it’s one massive pit! Ticket prices increase every month, so I’m trying to save up enough money to buy the cheapest this June.

Hope to see you there?

She is Love, and She is all I need.

I’ve been going CUH-RAZY for Parachute lately. I discovered them a few years ago while watching an episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 1 and they’re a part of the soundtrack. I only just re-discovered them last year when one of my friends recommended one of their songs.

I know that buying albums may seem a bit old school right now since we’re at the height of the Hi-Tech age, but I highly encourage you to buy their album. Not only are you going to have an ear-gasm everytime you listen to this, but you will also be helping the band!

I mean, could you resist those puppy dog eyes?! Will Anderson’s the vocalist of the band and I got my eyes dead set on him. Even though he’s *rumoured* to be dating Taylor Swift.

Are cliffhangers the “in” thing right now?!

*Spoiler Alert for Insurgent, City of Lost Souls, and Pandemonium books*

Insurgent: Then the shouting begins.
City Of Lost Souls: I am coming.
Pandemonium: Alex.
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! How can you end it like this?! This is so cruel!!! * ugly sobbing*
Veronica Roth, Cassandra Clare, Lauren Oliver: *Evil laughter*

I seriously can’t move on with my life whenever a book ends in a cliffhanger. Dreading to read the last chapter? Yes, that’s my test for a good book.

Who Stole My Magic?

“It is much wiser to view your love as a gift. Because that’s what love is – a gift; give it freely, for the sake of giving and not because you expect anything in return. And realize that the act of loving is in itself a gift. The fact that we can love and do love is the most amazing gift of all. And even if your love is not reciprocated, sent back to your doorstep like an unopened present, appreciate that you have within you the power, the ability, and the courage to love. And that in itself makes you truly special.”
